My joy for today...Mr. Davis!
I find joy the days that Tim Davis pops into my room! Tim Davis is a retired High School Counselor Extraordinaire! I was sad when he left Lexington High School. His energy is infections and he brings such a warm spirit and positive atmosphere with him wherever he goes. I am so grateful that his work with the Kearney Bound program still leads him to Lexington a few times a month. He seems to be like my angel who steps into my life when I need him most. He will always find me on my darkest days, listen to my worries and lighten my load. He smile, reassurance, and gentle touch always mean so much.
Today, he reintroduced me to the serenity prayer. This prayer is not new to me, but is exactly what I needed to hear today! Thank you Tim for lifting my spirit!
